How to Apply

ROSES: Sprinkle the recommended amount around each rose at a distance of 8-10 inches from the base of the plant. Work gently into the top 1/4 inch of soil. Deeper disturbance could injure roots.(2 ft. x 2 ft.) - 1/8 cup, (3 ft. x 3 ft.) - 1/3 cup, (4 ft. x 4 ft.) - 2/3 cup, (5 ft. x 5 ft.) - 1cup.

FLOWERING & FRUITING TREES & SHRUBS: Spread fertilizer evenly under the drip zone (branch canopy) of each plant using the following application chart. 3 feet - 1/4 cup, 6 feet - 3/4 cup, 9 feet - 2 cups, 12 feet - 4 cups.

TIP: Gloves are recommended when handling this and other gardening products. Brush or wash fertilizer granules off leaves to prevent plant injury and water thoroughly after application.

ROSES: Feed in the spring after new foliage has appeared and repeat every 12 weeks during the growing season. Postpone feeding fall-planted roses until the following spring. Stop feeding all roses 2 months before the first expected frost.

FLOWERING & FRUITING TREES & SHRUBS: Feed in the spring after new foliage has appeared and repeat every 12 weeks during the growing season. The last feeding should be 2 months before the first expected frost. Postpone feeding new fall plantings until the following spring.
